The study found the above, but it also pointed out that those eating mushrooms also tended to see a large boost in tier intake of important micronutrients. These foods made sure that we could see an increase in the amount of copper that we get in our foods, which is very important for creating a healthy body that is capable of fighting back against illness and infection.
Indeed, it was also found that mushrooms which were exposed to UV lights could also take in a large amount of Vitamin D, giving you almost all of your recommended daily intake of this vitamin from a a single helping of mushrooms. Given that Vitamin D deficiency is more common as many of us spend our time indoors for work, this could be a great way to help boost the living quality of millions.
