Awareness regarding the Zika virus outbreak in Brazil was a big concern in 2016 Olympic Games held in Rio de Janeiro. Taking in account the 10,000 athletes from 200 countries participated got us very curios..(to say the least) So we decided to explore and we were blown away with what we have found. Born on November 16, 1987 in Bad Aibling, Bayern, Germany, Amelie  is a German Federal Police officer. She was the youngest competitor in the Parallel Giant Slalom at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, won a Silver medal in that event. Amelie was ranked 8’th at the 2010 Winter Olympics while being 2 months pregnant. Won a Bronze Medal in 2014 Winter Olympic Parallel Slalom.
