Celebrity Heartbreaking Splits Of 2018 And Their Reasons

Join us as we take a look at the celebrities who went their separate ways or announced their breakups in 2018, starting with this comedian and pop star… Less than six months after they went public as a couple in May, which they followed with a June engagement, Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande split and called off their plans to marry, TMZ reported on Oct. 14.

Sources told TMZ the breakup happened a few days earlier “with both parties acknowledging that it simply was not the right time for their relationship to take off,” TMZ explained, though added, “the two aren’t ruling out the possibility of anything in the future.”

Zac Brown & Shelly Brown

Zac Brown Band frontman Zac Brown and wife Shelly have separated after 12 years of marriage and five kids together.

“We have led a whirlwind life together growing into a beautiful family with five amazing children and while life will be rearranging a bit, our love and commitment to our family will always be there,” the pair told People magazine in a joint statement on Oct. 5.

“This was a difficult decision, but we’ve done plenty of tough things together and this is our next venture — love, mutual respect, and care for each other are what we are moving forward with. Family comes in all different forms.

We would like to ask that rather than commenting or spending any energy towards this, that you take this moment to send love to your family, in honor of ours.”

“Grimm” actress Bree Turner split from orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman after 10 years of marriage, The Blast reported on March 5. Bree cited irreconcilable differences in a divorce filing days earlier. She’s asking the court for joint legal and physical custody of their two kids as well as spousal support.
