This park is hosted by several well known candy-bar characters, including Kit Kat, Twizzler, Reese and Kiss.
Hersheypark is offering a Kids Stay, Play and Eat Free package in 2019 on selected summer dates. The package includes a deluxe room in Hershey Lodge. This amazing complex is almost a park within the park. It offers a wonderful pool complex which includes water-slides, a pool with a lighthouse tipping bucket and a sandcastle structure for water play.
There is also an outdoor pool which remains open between Memorial Day and Labor Day, so you can catch some sun while you swim.
The package includes all of this plus a one-day family admission to Hersheypark and the water park. It also includes breakfast for the children and entry to other attractions. These include the 23-acre Hershey Botanical garden and arboretum which overlooks the park and a chance to check out the Hershey Story’s Museum Experience which houses exhibits about Hershey’s life.

When you arrive at Silver Dollar City you step back into a 1880s mining village with a twist – it houses over 40 rides and attractions. The most famous ride is the roller-coaster – the tallest, steepest and fastest complete circuit roller-coaster in the world!
If you can’t face the coaster why not take a 20-minute steam train ride through the park? The park is situated on top of the national landmark of Marvel Cave. Visitors can enjoy a guided walk through the cave. It’s a real experience to enjoy a cave 500 feet underground by lantern light.
The Chateau on the Lake is a family orientated hotel with a touch of elegance and it is only a 15-minute drive from the park. The hotel has some incredible views of the Table Rock Lake. This man-made lake sites on the border between Missouri and Arkansas, and on some parts there are sandy beaches to enjoy.
The resort itself boasts indoor and outdoor swimming pools, its own movie theater, nature trails for hiking and a marine and spa. There is also a kids club to allow the adults to get some free time.
Universal Orlando Resort prices from $500/night (Orlando, FL)
This is probably one of the most famous theme parks and as a result, most children find the prospect of visiting pretty thrilling. As a registered guest at the Hilton you are within an 8-minute drive from the park and have exclusive access to its 892-foot-long lazy river.
Universal Orlando Resort is actually a set of 3 theme parks. If you visit the Universal Website you can book the Universal Orlando Resort Vacation package which will save you around $300. It will also give you Uber credits to get you around the area. The package includes an hour early admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, a firm favorite with kids of all ages.
The Hilton Orlando is a perfect place to wind down. You can try tubing on lazy river, swimming in the pool, or having fun with the kids in Splash Zone. Last fall the hotel opened an outdoor pool deck where you can relax and watch the sunset. There are great places to eat on site too. The hotel has its own steakhouse, and an American Bistro and Castro-pub.
Disneyland, prices from $850/night (minimum 3night stay) (Anaheim, CA)
Although this is one of the pricier packages on the list the Disneyland Resorts package remains the best option for those visiting on a budget. The Paradise Pier Hotel has a boardwalk theme and is located just 10 minutes walk away from the park.
You can see fireworks here every night and it has its own pool with a water slide for the family, plus an adult only whirlpool on site. They offer a character breakfast for children so the day can start off as magically as it will go on.
