The month of March is coming to an end, which means it is time to get ready to have some fun! I remember playing pranks on my parents and grandparents when I was a child, and a very successful one my dad played on us.
Here are some ideas for your inner child, to mess with your actual child:
Switch the inside bags of their breakfast cereal: Your kids will definitely be surprised to find their beloved Cheerios to be some boring, unsweetened whole grain type of cereal.
Scare them with creepy clowns by placing a photo of a clown on top of all the drawer’s contents, so it will be the first thing they see when they open it.
School on the weekend: This year April 1st is on Saturday, so if your kids are young enough wake them up like it is a normal school day, make them breakfast and lunch boxes and even drive them to school. Even better – offer to carpool their friends! Make sure to make it up to them with something fun afterwards, though.
Jell-O Juice: Put Jell-O in a cup and serve it as juice to your kid, preferably with a straw. Simple, but hilarious!
Glue coins to the floor and innocently point out there is a coin under the table. This is some hard earned money!
Colorful Milk: Squeeze a few drops of food coloring into the milk container, so when they pour it it will come out in a different color. It’s harmless and very entertaining!
Change the Wi-Fi password so their devices will not connect, and pretend you have no idea what happened, because it works on your device!
Get in the wormhole: Cut a small hole in an apple with an apple corer, and insert a gummy worm or snake. Cover the hole with the bit you removed and get the camera ready. You can also leave the hole and have the head of the worm peek out. Spooky!
Mix up M&Ms with Skittles in a bowl, calmly watch the horror when your child takes a handful.
Oldie but a goodie – put some clear tape over the faucet. Never gets old, but it does get quite wet.
